This is a nice box for its price

This is a nice box for its price. Carpet is nice, mdf, everything is done right.
I can't recommend it for the NVX VCW though. Thats a 1200 rms speaker and it moves enough air that the port speed in this box gets high, combined with the air space being to small for that speaker and combined with this port being tuned to 41.5 hz (that's what WINISD is showing unless I made a mistake). These 3 things are not great for the vcw, and it creates an extremely punchy sounding speaker around 40hz.
For lower powered nvx sub that this box was probably designed for is a nice box for this price. I can't replicate it for this cost and that's not including my time. I recommend it, but do your homework and buy the right nvx sub to put inside of it.
